Hello, everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to start the year off on the right foot...or left...personal preference ;) Since a new year usually means new beginnings and new goals/resolutions, I thought it might be a good idea to start off with something like planners. I love planners but often find it difficult to maintain using one--I can do better, and I know it, just like I don't always post weekly--maybe this would help me with that! And I'm sure that a planner could help you in some area of your life as well!
Item #1 is from HadronEpochDesign
The first thing I loved about this planner was that it is very book-like. It's completely bound and not just a spiral binding. You really don't see many of these when you're planner shopping (or maybe it's just where I shop). I even like the art deco print, and I'm not a fan of art deco! This design is more my taste than most things done in that style. TYhe gold foil detail adds a nice finishing touch to this nice sized planner--5.125 x 8 inches to be exact. The planner includes monthly and weekly planners as well as lined and grid pages for notes. I like to have both the monthly and weekly options in a planner so I can see the general idea for the month and a more detailed view of the week.
Item #2 is from TifAndBritCo
This is a twelve month mini-planner for yearly goals. It has laminated tabs (for flipping), covers, foil-lined dividers, and unique layouts. I really like how bright the designs are and that the images are interspersed throughout the planner. There is a monogram option if you like those--I'm a southern lady and don't particularly like monograms (go figure). The maker may be sold out of most of these as it is a brand new year but don't fret--she has other awesome designs in her store!
Item #3 is from LittleChiquiPaperie
If you don't want to wait for your planner then this digital download is probably more your style! As soon as you pay, you get the download. I'm really loving the colors and set up of this one. The colors are bright but not overly bright and are used sparingly so the pages are balanced and aesthetically pleasing. With this planner you have daily, weekly, and monthly pages in addition to front cover, personal information page, goal setting pages, celebrations planner, monthly journaling/memory keeping page, and a month in review page. It's everything you could want in a planner!
Item #4 is from JessCowley
Come on everyone---we can admit it--We all love accessories! This next item is a set of embellished paper clips for taking your planner to the next level. You know...adding a little pizzazz! These clips are going to act like bookmarks--keeping you in place and ready to go at a moment's notice. Bam! The bright colors add an extra little flair too!!
Item #5 is from PolyEsterAndFriends
I bet you're ready to ask me this---if I get a digital planner, what am I going to put it in??? You can put it in pretty much anything, but how about a handmade planner binder? I'm totally loving this dot planner cover, personnally. It's minimal but still cute. It kind of says it's yours. Inside you'll find a flap for all your loose ends and a nice little holder for your cards. You also have a choice as far as size goes, so choose carefully my friends!
I hope this has given you all some ideas in the big world of planner shopping--the options are seriously endless, and it pretty much is your preference as to what you want on one. Maybe all you need is something with a monthly option...or maybe you're like me a want a little more than that (and have a little bit of a love for stationery). Make sure to check out these makers and all the others on your favorite handmade site for more ideas!
