Hello, everyone! I hope this finds you well! This week I thought it'd be a great idea to finish up the theme of organization with products for different areas of the home---the areas we tend to have problems keeping organized--the bathroom, living area, entry way, etc. Now, I'm going to start on my cleaning and organizing (I haven't really deep cleaned since wee got back from Europe) while you all get some awesome ideas for storing and becoming more organized.

Shelves can be used in many different areas throughout the home/apartment to organize knick knacks and create a nice focal point. These shelves would go with pretty much any decor, so there are a lot of options for what you can do with them. This listing is for a shelf that is 48-inches long, 3.5 inches high, and 6.25 inches deep, which makes for a very nice-sized piece. These hold 51 pounds, so all your decorative items can be placed for display. I personally have been considering getting some shelving to put above our bed to put some of the things we got on the trip and a place to put my glasses at night (I'll have a general idea of where they are instead of fumbling around for them in the dark). A major plus about these shelves is that they are designed for easy mounting with the main shelf sliding onto a a bracket that has been screwed into the wall--always a plus!
Item #2 is from JustKnotWood
I don't guess I really ever thought of using a ladder for storage until the last few years when the lean-to bookshelves became popular, but I can definitely see the advantages of using them--vertical storage, little floor space lost, storage for multiple items. In addition to the advantages, the ladder would be a nice focal point in the room as well as a conversation starter (or something for the cat to climb in my case). I think this would be great for any area in your home because there is always something that can be put up and stored---towels, blankets, kitchen towels (really anything that hangs)--and it comes in 12 colors/finishes that make the piece very versatile.

Anyone else have trouble keeping their bathroom area organized? I certainly can't be the only one! Whether it's makeup or bath items, we all could use something to corral all of the bits and pieces we have around. Use of this basket isn't limited to the bathroom---it has multiple uses, but where it's used depends on your needs. I really like the combination of the fabrics--linen and a floral print--because it can go with pretty much any decor, and the neutral colors don't draw attention to everything inside the basket (It doesn't scream, "Look at my mess"). The pattern and solid color are just visually pleasing in my opinion. Wondering about the size? It comes in three sizes, but it depends on how much stuff you need to put in it, or maybe you need all three sizes for categories of products..hey, you can never have enough baskets, right?

Laundry hampers are en essential in any house, whether it's a basket or an actual hamper--you can't have your clothes in a pile on the floor waiting to be washed---well, I guess you could but no one wants to see your dirty clothes. Hampers have become increasingly more stylish as time has progressed, and the options are endless--canvas, prints, rattan, pop up, you name it. This classy hamper is made from 100% cotton canvas (which is very sturdy) and has leather straps attached with metal rivets. These come in multiple sizes to contain your clothing pile and keep your space nice and neat.
Item #5 is from ShineBoxPrimitives
I think something we always can find useful are wall hooks. We have coats, purses, keys, towels, etc., and we need a place to hang them, so they don't end up in a pile on the floor or on the table. It's taken me forever to break my habit of putting my car keys on the table (or just randomly laying them down somewhere), but hooks have helped tremendously with that. I'm really not a red fan, but I think the color suits these hooks with their distressed nature. They'd definitely add a nice touch to any room, whether it's the bathroom, bedroom, or entry way.
Item #6 is from OFloinnDecor
I don't know if everyone needs one of these, but we heat our house with a wood/propane combination, and I think it'd be a good idea to have something a little nicer looking than a plastic bucket to hold a small amount of excess wood for filling up the furnace in the middle of the night--especially when it's cold. Who wants to go out at 2 AM when you've gotten out of the warm bed to get wood?--no one! This rack is made of repurposed wine barrel hoops and staves which result in a sturdy and stylish storage piece!
That's all I have for you all today. There are many, many items for storage and organization on Etsy, so I urge you to hop on and check out the offerings. We all have areas we want to organize or wish had better storage, and I'm sure you can find something for pretty much any need. I'm still organizing and cleaning, but I always find that the job is never done but can be made easier. As always, make sure to visit your favorite site and show some artists some love!
