Greetings everyone! I hope you all are ready for another week of fabulous finds! I've been a busy bee today because I had the day off work. In light of being off work, I decided to get a head start on some new string art projects and another jewelry piece or two before I started this week's post! I decided earlier that feathers might be a good theme--it's something different, so here ya go!
Item #1 is from Unikatina
I really like these earrings because they have a unique look to them. They also have a nice balance of softness and hardness...kind of a punk-rockish vibe. I love how the maker decided to use the ball chain--it adds some visual interest in addition to the detail on the leather. The length of these is perfect, too--4 inches at the longest part--and will go with any hair length!
Item #2 is from ShlomitOfir
The visual interest and mixing of textures in this piece is great! It has a lot going on but not so much that it's too much...there's actually something very minimal about it. The color combination is also very pleasing and would compliment many outfits.
Item #3 is from LeChaim
I'm loving feather jewelry these days, but I absolutely love it when they have the patina on them! The feather is highly detail showing each little section. Another great thing about this ring is that it is adjustable--it fits finger sizes 4.5 and up. Gone are the days of hoping you have the right size or worrying about bloating :) These are extremely popular in the boho world and add a nice touch to any outfit.
Item #4 is from ImagesbyKentOlinger
I really like the look of these earrings. They are hand cut from a copper sheet using a technique called the pierce and cut technique, which requires patience and precision (probably more than I have haha). The designer then flame paints or fire torches them resulting in the color variance. This makes the earrings completely unique--the length of time the flame is applied and the air composition both affect the color that results. There's also no reason to worry about the color changing because the maker has sealed the piece. The awesome detail makes having these a must--plus you'll be completely on trend!
Item #5 is from NectarFashionJewelry
Here is another ring that I found in my browsing. I like that it's asymmetrical and very detailed. It's also adjustable so no more worries about finding the correct size here either. I'm loving the simplicity of it an that you can wear it with pretty much anything in your closet!
That's all I have for you today, everyone! I hope I have gotten you interested in feather jewelry enough to get you to start looking around :) As always, make sure you head over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!
