Hello, everyone! It's time for a new edition of Weekly Wednesday! Can you think of any holidays coming up? Father's Day, maybe? If that's your guess then you'd be correct. Sometimes it's hard to buy for your dad--either because he has everything or because you just don't know what he'd want. I've got some ideas for you today that any dad would love to receive, so make sure you get on it before it's too late! Side note: Fur baby dads are also included for Father's Day ;)
Item #1 is from StatesStudios
Most dads have a watch, but how many have a handmade wooden watch? Not that many. This would definitely be something unique and memorable to receive. There was a lot of work that went into this piece...the links, the dial, etc. It's simple and luxurious. You can have the back of the watch personalized with some loving words for dad. You can also get a bamboo case to store this beauty in if you'd like--pick your choice at check out.
Item #2 is from HoBoTies
What's the most traditional gift for Father's Day? A tie. Sticking with tradition, I think it's time that we put a twist on the plain old tie. I'm really liking this neat map tie. It's not something that you'll see every day, and it's highly likely that your dad, husband, grandfather, boyfriend, etc. would receive lots of compliments on it. In addition to being neat, it's really stylish and adds that finishing touch to an outfit. The tie comes in the standard size, a slim size, and a boys' size (if you want father and son to match). Great style for a great dude.
Item #3 is from Twenty22Labs
Most dads today are well versed in their video game consoles but having them all isn't necessarily ideal because space is limited. If your dad loved to play N64, Sega, Gameboy, or NES (among others), then this will provide hours of endless reminiscing. Games of childhood are probably some of the best memories--we know that-- so this is a definitely a gift that will be loved! Plus, you can play along!
Item #4 is from StyledGents
What's one of the most popular movies of the year (or maybe all time)? Star Wars of course! These storm trooper cuff links will have your dad Stylin' and profilin'. Whether the old movies or the new ones, most dads are going to be fans. Lots of compliments will be given with these accessories. Another plus--they come ready to gift!
Item #5 is from OrisDesigns
Every man today needs a nice satchel to carry to the office. Stylish, durable, and useful--perfect even if the receiver doesn't work in an office setting. We all have all sorts of devices-iPads, laptops, kindles, perhaps an old fashioned book--we need a place to store and transport these now everyday items. This bag is made of full grain leather and measures 15.5"wx10.5"hx5"d (not including the adjustable strap). You've got some pockets, too, for smaller items. If a messenger bag isn't what you're looking for, the shop has many more things to choose from!
I hope you've gotten some ideas for what to get the fathers in your lives. I know it can sometimes be really hard to buy for men in general, so I thought this might be helpful to you all since we all have fathers or father figures in our lives to celebrate in a couple of weeks. Make sure you celebrate it well!
Until next time,
