Hello, everyone! It's that time again--Weekly Wednesday! I decided to continue the wedding posts as a series because (let's face it) one post doesn't have enough ideas for everything involved in a wedding. Today, we're jumping into Part 2--the bachelorette party. (If you've not read part 1 yet, you can read it here!) You've got to make it a lovely girls' night that celebrates the bride and the group's friendship before the big day! I've got a few ideas to get your gears turning, so let's get started!
Item #1 is from GnarlyGrail
I personally haven't seen this phrase used on shirts for bachelorette parties. I think it's pretty neat--kind of rhymie even! Having matching shirts makes it obvious who is in the group and also makes it easier to keep up with each other--great for finding each other in a crowd. The "tribe" term is cool because a tribe is a group, and in this case a group of ladies celebrating their friend. The makers have a variety of shirt colors to choose from and a choice of gold or silver text. Customize it and make it your group's own! The shirts are in junior sizing and are made to be fitted, so if you're like me and hate really form fitting shirts, you may want to go up a size. Brides, if you're reading this, they also make shirts for the entire wedding party in case you were wondering! :)
Item #2 is from ShadesofPinkBtq
The bride always needs a sash, and this one is really pretty! It comes as an open-ended, 70-inch long piece of double-faced satin with a velcro coin to "pin" it together. The maker allows you to choose the color of the sash as well as the color of the text, so it's something that can be totally unique for the bride!
Item #3 is from TealAsh
Another new thing that I've not seen before (for bachelorette parties) is tattoos! I guess I never really thought about it..haha. I thought including this would be pretty neat because it matches the writing on the "Bride Tribe" tee shirt--great for keeping a theme..or font in this case. The size of these is 1.5 x 2 inches, and they are temporary, so nothing to worry about if you're out for the party the night before the big day.
Item #4 is from shopVmarie
As the givers of the bachelorette party, all bridesmaids know that the bride needs to stand out. An awesome way to do this would be to add a veil as an accessory piece to the bride's outfit. Now, you don't have to stick to a white veil. The maker will do other colors as well, so if there's a common color you want to use, you name it! There is also the option of a comb or barrette to attach it in the bride's hair.
Item #5 is from becollective
Brides, this would definitely be something nice to have for your bachelorettes/bridesmaids as a thank you for them throwing you an awesome night. This listing is for the little bags ONLY, so you will have to purchase or make some things to go inside it. The size of the bag can be changed (the one pictured is 4x6 inches) to 5x7 inches or 8x12 inches if you'd like to include more things or if the things you're wanting to include are bigger items. It is 100% cotton muslin, so it really is a nice little bag. I think what the maker has included in the picture (the items) are some good ideas for putting in each bag--elastic hair ties, chap stick, mints, travel packets of Advil/Tylenol, mints, tattoos for the party, eye drops, etc. Alter the items however you'd like, and, remember, "I Regret Nothing."
I hope you have enjoyed this bachelorette party edition of Weekly Wednesday, and I hope you have gotten some ideas for throwing one :) Never forget that there are handmade items for everything, so go check out your favorite handmade site and show some artists/makers some love!!
Stay tuned for next week--I have some ideas for the bridal shower!
Until next time,
