Hello, everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful Wednesday! This week I thought it'd be fun to do a throwback to how I originally posted. I use to only post about jewelry, but I later decided to expand a little further out. For this edition, I'm going to do a post featuring minimalist jewelry. It's always so versatile, and more often than not, less is more. Enjoy!
Item #1 is from DianeMabry
These earrings are certainly stunning! They are made from a single piece of sterling silver that was formed to this shape and then the end hammered and polished for a nice shine. They are about two inches long, and the designer has included rubber backings for a secure fit. I don't really know how these could come off without you knowing, but then again I've never had any like these (My hair would probably pull them out!). I'm really liking how sleek these are! That's what gives them the minimal quality. I think it'd be awesome to see these in different colors too! Make sure to stop by and grab a pair to step your outfit up a level!
Item #2 is from ArkensJewelryBox
How could I do a minimal themed post without including some stacking rings? I obviously could not resist. What's great about stackable rings is that they can be worn alone or in a set. Either way, they still look minimal. If you were this ring by itself, you get some texture and visual interest, but if you wear it as a set, you get a mixture of textures. make sure to add this one to your wishlist.
Item #3 is from LittleImpJewellery
I love how this necklace makes a big statement even though it's a small piece. As the name of the item states, it does look like a moon crater. The pendant is handforged by the the designer's studio. The way the piece was created leaves a lovely texture on the inside and a smooth, shiny surface on the outside. It's very contemporary; very sleek. There is also a set of earrings that go with this necklace if you want to complete the set. It's a versatile piece (like most of the other items featured) and can be worn at a variety of occasions.
item #4 is from WROXdesign
The open square on these earrings is SO cool! They've got a very modern, minimal feel to them. I especially like the matte finish--it gives the earrings a nice texture, but you can also get these with a shiny finish. You also get a choice as to the length of them--1, 1.5, or 2 inches. I think the longer they are, the more elegant they will look, so I'd shoot for the 2 inches. Gorgeous piece to add to your jewelry stash!
Item #5 is from ByliaJewels
So, I don't know if you would consider this ring to be minimal, but I really feel like it is. It has straight lines, which are a hug part of minimalism. You do have more than one thing going on, but the direction is either vertical or horizontal. There is a nice little row of white zirconia stone running across that add a nice bit of bling to the piece. For the crystal, you can get either clear or rose quartz, and for the ring you can get 18k gold plated 925 silver or just 925 silver. Either combination would be pretty, but the rose quartz paired with the gold plated silver would be the most stunning. You could wear this ring by itself or with other rings as a stacking piece or with other rings on different fingers depending on the look you are going for.
Item #6 is from WildFawnJewellery
I really like how these earring look like they're floating! It's magic! The circle has been hammered for a nice visual texture which adds to its character. All jewelry created by this designer is made with eco-friendly methods--ie, recycled stainless steel, no harsh chemicals in the manufacturing process. These will make definitely make a statement as people will be looking at how they float!
Item #7 is from ConcretelyShop
I saw this necklace and immediately thought it was unique. You all know that I really like my concrete jewelry, and rose gold is growing on me (enough to wear my phone is rose gold). I was literally just thinking, "is that rose gold foil pieces, or are parts actually cut out of the concrete and rose gold foil applied?" It's just rose gold foil applied flat against the smooth concrete. I love the illusion it creates, though! The concrete pendant will come on a rose gold plated chain that comes in two different lengths. There are not a lot of people who do concrete jewelry really well, but this designer has the skill down!
Item #8 is from lunaijewelry
These earrings are very unique (especially in how you wear them). You wear these with the hook part hugging your earlobe. The jewel will be right against where your ear is pierced. You can get this earring set in a shiny silver or a 22K yellow gold plated sterling silver. I'm personally loving the gold plated option. It looks absolutely stunning with the baguette cut aquamarine.
Item #9 is from SheinaJewelry
I love that this ring has a little bit of bling in it while still being very minimal. It's very delicate and feminine. I think it'd be one that you could wear on any finger, but it really depends on your style. I've gotten to where I like to wear rings on any of my fingers--if they fit every finger. Quick question regarding ring sizes: Has anyone else noticed that the fingers on your dominant hand tend to be bigger than the nondominant one? Maybe it's just the knuckles, but I've got a few rings that fit the index finger on my left hand but don't fit the index finger on my right hand. Weird, huh? Now, back on topic. I could see this one being worn with multiple different outfits, so you're not limited to wearing it with certain outfits..it's very versatile.
Item #10 is from CandiceVostrejs
This is a pretty interesting set of bangles. I really like the texture of them. Two of the bangles are smooth and three are textured. It adds a nice bit of visual interest. The set comes for wrists that measure 55 inches to 7 inches around. I think I'd rather have them bigger because I like mine to be a little bit loose to allow for movement. These would be great for adding some detail to your outfit and would look great in casual or business casual dress.
That's all I have for you this week, everyone! I hope you've enjoyed this throw back style post on minimal jewelry, and I hope that you have found some items that you want to add to your jewelry stash.
Boo! Viewer beware, you're in for a scare! (Remember that, Goosebumps TV show fans?) Maybe I'm showing my age a little bit there. Anyway It's that time of year! Have you started getting your Halloween decor put up??!! If you haven't, you really should get moving on that one because it will be here sooner than you realize. I'll have to say that my favorite type of Halloween decor is a unique combination of steampunk, victorian, and folk art styles---I told you it was unique, didn't I? Combined, the decorations are enough to make you feel safe, but yet you have that feeling in the pit of your stomach that something creepy is afoot. Now, don't get me wrong, I do love it all! Those are just my favorites :) Get your scare on and find yourself some amazing decorations!
Item #1 is from prarieantiques
Alright. These are the most realistic fake fingers that I have ever seen. They're definitely good for adding a scare. These can be used in your wax/tart warmer because they are scented. You have many scents to choose from as well. I'd probably go with the fall or Halloween scents since having these out past Halloween might really raise some eyebrows since they do look so realistic..haha.
Item #2 is from Cre8orsTouch
This is a decoration that fits very well into my Halloween style--the Victorian, steampunk, folk art mix. A lot of the stuff I like is made from paper mache, and this marionette-styled cat is no different. Yes, a marionette...sometime those are just creepy in and of themselves (this is similar to a marionette, but without the strings). I think this one is cute, but still a bit creepy. I'm also loving the vintage/primitive look. The way this was created allows you to pose it to a certain extent, and the head rotates--perfect for making guests feel uneasy.
Item #3 is from WreathStreetFloral
When people come to the door you want something that looks pretty and also shows you're a fan of Halloween. I think this one will do the trick! This wreath is a combination of purple hydrangeas, hydrangea leaves and other greens, skulls, and skull hands on top of a grape vine wreath. At the top is a cotton crushed black ribbon. It looks very Halloween-ish to me!
Item #4 is from DearHenryDesign
If you're sending out invitations to your Halloween party, I think these would be an awesome choice! They are created to be like the toe tags you often seen in morgues--they even have a little blood stain on the corner. They are completely personalized with a cause of death and everything. If these don't start giving your guests the creeps, I don't know what will.
Item #5 is from OrangeJarArt
I have no idea where I think I've seen these before, but I'll have to say that seeing them randomly distributed would freak me out a bit. It would be awesome if they blinked! You'd definitely get some screams going, then! The eyes are crafted from polymer clay (this stuff can be difficult to work with if your do not know what you're doing, so I probably would go a little nuts fooling with the stuff) and then handpainted to look old and dirty. Check out the listing for some ways to incorporate these into your decorations.
Item #6 is from UnearthedSalvage
I saw this and originally thought it was actually intended as a piece of Halloween decor. Nope. It's a real dental model--I guess I'm in Halloween mode now. They're actually dentistry students' models from 2006. It's very neat, and actually looks vintage. Now, I'm wondering where the old molds of my teeth before braces are...hmmm.
Item #7 is from Thebatinthehat
A lot of people I've known hate these things. I've played with one, I'll admit it. They are a bit creepy especially if you've seen the movie Ouija (check that out by clicking the movie title). A lot of the stories I've heard deal with not being able to get rid of the board no matter what you did to it. You could burn it, toss it in a river, but it was always waiting for you somewhere. This candle is the lettering of the board. It's 7 inches tall and has no scent. I think it would be a nice piece to keep the guests at your party feeling uneasy.
Item #8 is from frighten
I'm going to tell you right now that I really and freaked out by nuns. No, I didn't go to Catholic school. I just watched one of The Conjuring movies. See below:
Now that I've officially scared the ever loving shit out of myself by looking at these videos, you can possibly get the benefit of scaring your friends and family. I saw the listing on Etsy and mumbled to myself, "aw hell no," because the picture is just creepy and reminded me of the movie. Get a picture like the one above and frame it...in a Victorian picture frame...that'll leave them screaming and completely creeped out.
Item # 9 is from masonjardecor
How about these awesome apothecary-inspired bottles? They're pretty neat, right? You get the labelled bottles, lids, and labels. You can actually use them to hold adult beverages or you can fill with with water and food coloring for a decorative look. Pick your poison wisely---unruly spirits, troubled waters, or embalming fluid.
Item #10 is from RaggedyRee
I've always liked hourglasses, but they always make me feel like time is running out---and that's the point for further making your guests creeped out. Also included in this listing is a clock that was once a prop. Together, the two really get the point across about time running out. Make sure to put it where you're guests will constantly see it!
Item #11 is from Lot450Shop
Here we have a red Halloween/Fall candle. It looks like a blood candle, but it's really just a blood red soy candle with a wood wick. You can get it unscented or in a spiced cider scent. What drew me to this was how deep of a red the wax was and because of the fake blood the maker put on the side--awesome idea!
Item #12 is from 3Ddreaming
To turn on the lights, you'll have to throw the switch. I really think this is a neat idea, and I've not seen them anywhere else. You can get these for single and double switches, and the base can be chosen to be white. I personally like the gray the best...it's darker and more sinister. My only issue is that I would probably be terribly lazy and just leave it up..haha (the doormat and lights around the door from last year are still there).
For those of you who want to get your DIY on, I've found some cool tutorials for you
#1 This is an underground cell that has been made from reclaimed wood. The lights make it extra creepy.
#2 Try this Candy Corn party mix...It's delish; I've made it for the last two years.
#3 Barfing Pumpkin chip tray--Blue Corn tortilla chips, guacamole, and a carved pumkin.
That's all I have for you today my spooks! I hope you've enjoyed this Horror-filled Halloween Edition of this week's favorites. I know I've gotten several ideas for decor and for DIY. Let me know if you like the DIY inclusion and your favorite Halloween items/ DIYs in the comments below :) Now, head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists so love!
Until next time,

Hello, everyone! It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of all things boho, so I decided that I would do another bohemian themed post that was full of beautiful items. I'm also not just sticking to jewelry this time (even though it is definitely gorgeous); I'll be including home and clothing items in addition to the jewelry to make your life boho beautiful.
Item #1 is from HandloomStore
I like how this kimono looks really nice and comfy. I have my days where I what to wear a tank top and just throw something on top to keep it work appropriate. Anyone else? This would definitely be something I would want to add to my closet to do just that. Grab and put on when I don't really want to wear something else. The kimono is made from Turkish cotton and has handmade tassels, wide sleeves, and a color-blocked stripe. It would be a great piece to add to your wardrobe as it has multiple uses--You can use it to cover up a tank top or as a swimsuit coverup, so it's a year round piece.
Item #2 is from SageAndStoneCo
I feel like this moon phase wall hanging would be really neat to have in your home! I would definitely receive many compliments because I don't recall seeing many things like this in the time I've been on Etsy (since 2013)--really unique. The wall hanging comes in three sizes--small, medium, and large--and can be hung vertically or horizontally (whichever way floats your boat--haha, I got a pun in there since the moon controls the tide that a boat would be on).
Item #3 is from GoodCulture
I absolutely love this necklace! There is a lot going on in it, but I think it would be stunning when paired with a solid color dress or top. The necklace has Turkish coins on it to add even more boho flair to the piece. The size of the necklace is 5 inches long and 4 inches wide on an 18 inch chain. It's definitely a statement piece that you'll want to add to your jewelry stash. You'll also want to check out the rest of the shop to see the other beautiful items the designer has.
Item #4 is from SunFaeDesigns
I've always been a fan of these buntings. They're very shabby chic! These are created from upcycled from sari fabric scraps whose company donates the proceeds to charitable causes (upcycled just makes be love this even more!). Since these are made to order, you are welcome to request a specific color scheme, but you can also get the colorful combinations like what is in the photos. The uses for this are many in number, but you can use them at a special event, as a curtain, or as a space decoration to name a few.
Item #5 is from HappyGoLicky
I really love how well this bracelet lends itself to layering! The bracelet that I'm featuring here is the middle one--the one that wraps. The wrap is composed of leather and suede that are woven into one piece to wrap around your wrist three times and closes with a toggle bar clasp. I really like the detail on the silver piece as well. It has a floral pattern and rougher edges for a more boho-ish look and has been oxidized and hand-polished for a beautiful luster. Attached to the side of the piece is a tassel made of the same materials as the wrap. You have to have a tassel when you're talking boho :) I personally love the layered look, so make sure to check out the maker's shop to see what else you can get to go with it!
Item #6 is from fairlyworn
This is a brillant idea! I would never have thought of it. I love my Katha throw that I've got so much that I am looking for another one! This jacket is made from a Kantha throw so obviously I would like it. If you're wondering what a Kantha throw is, here is the answer: a Kantha throw is a vintage quilt made in India by women who have hand-stitched layers of cotton saris together. The are reversible--as is this jacket! It's two coats in one! One side is a champagne color with colorful stitching and the other side is a blue and green checkered pattern. The bottom edge of the jacket has pretty, red embroidered pattern. To tie the jacket together, the designer has used hand-woven Vietnamese trim. This one is definitely a contender for a future jacket.
Item #7 is from TheSaltyLifeCo
I could see this as being the perfect centerpiece to a bohemian foyer. Add a little of this and a little of that, and you've got a stunning entry/exit way. You might say, "This doesn't look very boho to me." "No, not really, " I'd say," but the meaning behind the word is." Affection, love, peace, compassion, and mercy (to me) would be the center of boho or what I would consider to be the boho idea. Even if it's not totally boho decor, you could add some pieces that would make it moreso. The sign is hand-cut and stained with hand-painted lettering. You could hang this or have a plate holder support it (more uses than a plate holder, trust me).
Item #8 is from RoyalSuzieJewelry
This cuff is awesome. The size is great, and I really like the purple color of the agate. If purple's not your color there are a few other options: pink, blue, teal, green, champagne, brown and black. You can also get a druzy as well if you are willing to pay a tad more (just 2 bucks though). The cuff base is just a simple brass cuff. You tend to see a lot of agate and druzy items in boho jewelry and decor, so this piece definitely screams "boho" and would be a great statement piece.
Item #9 is from WhitetailRoad
Dreamcatchers are another thing you tend to see a lot of in the boho style. Dreamcatchers were originally made by the American Indians to resemble a spider's web. Spiders were a common symbol of protection and comfort to the original group of American Indians who created dreamcatchers. The original tribe believed a "spider woman" watched over them as a sort of spiritual protector. Eventually, through intermarriage and cultural appropriation, the "spider woman" could not protect all of her children, so the dreamcatcher was created. Isn't that a neat story? These lovely creations are said to ensure the nightmares and give the owner only pleasant dreams. I'd need a huge one; I have a lot of nightmares and unpleasant dreams---it's like a horror/psychological thriller in there (my noggin) at night. I'm really loving the soft colors of this dreamcatcher. They are visually pleasing, and the different textures are amazing. I think the mint color really makes it pop. This would be great for parties, a nursery, or as a decoration in general. I could really see it in a room with all white walls, maybe farmhouse-y. Definitely a considering adding one of these to our bedroom.
Item #10 is from TravelingSoulStudio
This sign is just too freaking neat! I love it! Those that identify their style as boho or gypsy-related tend to be referred to as free spirits. You want your spirit to be free and not caged up ,so you can explore, feel, and experience life. This sign is another...wait for it...upcycled art piece. It's made from old license plates from across the country, and has a chain to hang by.
And one more just for fun!
Item #11 is from BuddhaBlossomJewels
This is definitely a statement piece that you want to have in your jewelry arsenal. It's made of turquoise-colored, howlite spikes and hangs on a tan leather cord. There are two lengths available--20-23 and 13-16--I prefer the longer one because I'm not a fan of having something that close to my neck (I'm sure you can tell that I am not a choker fan). You can also get this in turquoise or ivory---I prefer the latter because I feel like it makes more of a statement than the other. This necklace makes me think that it would symbolize that a person is strong, independent, and confident. You will get attention with this piece because it is a beauty and most likely because you are a strong, independent, and confident woman.
That's all I have for you all this week. I hope you've enjoyed looking and reading about these items. There were so many items to choose from that I had to narrow it down further than I had originally wanted. I have to save some for the next boho post! Now, head on over to your favorite handmade site (whether it's Etsy, Amazon Handmade, or Zibbet) and show some artists some love!
Until next time,
p.s. Feel free to tag, tweet, like, share, or pin <3
Hello, everyone! Are you ready for another fun-filled, weekly post of some awesome items? I've been seeing a lot of enamel pins throughout the last several months, and they are still very trendy and just fun in general. They are a great way to express yourself and show off some of the things you love. I figured it was about time to do a pretty long post. Hope you enjoy! (Warning: Pins may induce lots of nostalgia)
Item #1 is from ShopZoki
Sloths are one of my favorite animals! They just move so slow that it's funny. Their cuteness makes it even better. This little guy is munching on some watermelon. The pin is held on with two clutches and a double pin back to make sure the hold is secure. He would definitely brighten up your day and the day of anyone else who happens to catch a glimpse of him.
Item #2 is from HennelPaperCo
I love this pin! I actually need it because I love cats! I've always had them throughout my life--I've had way more sweet moments than jerk moments with the ones I had (actually, I don't think I've really had any jerk moments). This pin looks like it's a very happy tabby cat and has a little heart on it. It makes me want to grab CoCo and give her kisses. The pin has a butterfly closure and is about 1.25 inches at its widest point.
Item #3 is from Grimestreet
Talk about the nostalgia associated with this one! It takes me back! Does anyone else remember Rocko? Maybe I'm showing my age here...hmmm. It was a cartoon show on Nickelodeon in the 90s. It was one of my favorite shows (that I still watch if I can find it on youtube). It is double posted for a more secure hold. Make sure to get one as it will bring all Rocko fans together!
Item #4 is from sweetandlovely
I so identify with this one. I'll be the first one to tell you that I'm a strange bird. I'm a little odd--the black sheep of the family if you will. All in all I'm a weirdo, and nothing is wrong with that. ;) I like that the designer chose a heart to put the words in because it seems to me that it shows you are embracing who you are.
Item #5 is from carolyndraws
I probably love sleep a little too much! I like to sleep late and taking naps, but my naps are more like small comas. I'll sleep for 3 hours. Forget that 30 minute mess! You'll get a grumpy person if that's all I get to sleep. This pin is about 1.25 inches wide and has a butterfly clasp to hold it on. This would be great for any professional sleeper to put on their bag, jacket or hat.
Item # 6 is from AnatomicalElement
The first thing I saw when looking at this pin was the work "think" inside the brain. Haha. That's neat, and it looks like the folds, too. I always found anatomy interesting when I was in college (heads out of the gutter! I took A&P). The human body is just amazing. This pin has a rubber clutch to hold the pin in place. It would look great on a bag, lanyard, or jacket; and would be a wonderful reminder for people to "think."
Item #7 is from Enamelpinco
If you don't watch "Rick and Morty," you'll probably wonder why I'm posting this. You seriously need to watch it if you've not seen it. Its been along wait for season 3 (2 years +, I think), but I think the episodes have turned out to be worth the wait. In this particular episode, Rick turns himself into a pickle to avoid family therapy. It snowballs (the family had a dog named Snowball too) from there. This pin is double posted with deluxe locking clasps and is 1.5 inches in size.
Item #8 is from JayHyltonShop
Alright, this description contains a story and involved Game of Thrones. *Begins story....If you watch Game of Thrones, you know the theme song. Well, somehow my fiance, our roommate, and I came up with a song we sing EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. it comes on. It goes, "Wiener, wiener wiener, wiener wien chicken dinner chicken dinner (pronounce the "i" like the "i" in "ding"), and somehow we added "figgy pudding" to the mix. Don't ask how we came up with it. I'm not sure I remember it because it just sort of happened..haha. Yes, we are weirdos. I thought this pin was really appropriate for reminding us of that (and maybe now it's stuck in your head too). It's also great for those that think a chicken dinner is a winner!
Item #9 is from WeirdoWeapons
Does anyone else remember the Everlasting Gobstopper from the old Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? The one from 1971. That's the one I grew up on and could watch over and over again. I watched it so much that I could say the lines with the characters. It will always be a favorite of mine. The new one creeps the crap out of me. I don't know what it is, but it's dark the entire time; It's a no for me. Whenever Gene Wilder held up that Gobstopper, I always wished I could actually eat one. Well, you can technically eat one. Willy Wonka candies has Everlasting Gobstoppers, but to my deep disappointment, they do not resemble the treat from the movie. If it looked like the one from the movie, I might give them another try, but until then, I can do without. This pin would be a wonderful dose of nostalgia for those that really loved the old movie, and it would be a way to connect with other fans.
Item #10 is from millypins
This is another pin that takes me back! There are so many of these memory inducing pins today! Did anyone else eat the Kid's Cuinsines back int the 90s? They were so good even if the damn brownie never cooked or was hard! My favorite would have to be the chicken nuggets one, but I did eat the others (except the pizza, I never liked that one because it reminded me of the ones we had at school). I'm sure they've changed I lot since I last had one..haha.
Item #11 is from HeatherBuchanan
This reminds me of a breakfast item that I call a "toad in the hole." You may know is as an egg in a basket, egg in the hole, or cat in the hat. There are several terms for it, but not matter the terminology, we all can agree that it's an excellent dish (not just for breakfast). This dish is a piece of toast with a hole cut out of the middle and an egg cooked inside. It's a quick and easy fix, but not a hand-held treat..The yolk is supposed to be runny, and you use the bread to soak it up and literally clean the plate.
Item #12 is from KatyPillingerDesigns
Some days, alcohol is a necessity. Other days, it's just nice to drink. This would be perfect for any fan of gin or alcoholic beverages in general. This pin is an adult lemonade I guess you can say. I don't really know my liquors, I just order the pretty drinks ;)
Item #13 is from OHNORachio
Isn't this succulent pin cute? You all know I'm a huge fan of succulents. This one is no different. I don't have a story for this one---it's just cute.
Item #14 is from NostalgiaPinCo
Did anyone else's parents read them Goodnight, Moon? I remember this one being read several times when I was really young. And I did find a mouse of every page ,I believe. I'm sure you'll get a lot of nostalgic tails from fellow readers.
Item #15 is from LindseyBalbierz
Oh, how I love pancakes. They're so good! Do I prefer them over waffles? Of course! I also like all kinds..chocolate chip, banana, buckwheat, red velvet, you name it. We always get a big breakfast if we're going to be skipping lunch because it keep us full and energized until dinner time. *Insert buzz* Time for another quirk I have! I do not eat syrup or butter on my pancakes. I want to taste them, not the syrup or butter. Most people look at me like I'm crazy, but make sure to try it before bashing it ;) This pin would be awesome for any pancake lover in your life or even yourself if they're a breakfast go-to.
That's all I have for you this week, my lovelies! I hope you've enjoyed seeing all these pins! I know it really took me down memory lane, and that was so fun. I may have to grab a few of these for myself (or at least put them on my want list!) Now, make sure to head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!
Until next time,
p.s. Feel free to tag, like, tweet, share, or pin. <3
Hello, everyone! What do you think of the new title for our weekly posts? I thought it was high time to revamp it a little, so I started with the name. I may be going to start adding items other than what you can find on Etsy. Don't worry, I will still showcase a few Etsy items, just not as many. I figure it's time to broaden out a little bit. I think I've already done a succulent post this year, but I thought, what the hell? lets do another one. You all know I love my succulents; I'm even using them in my wedding!
Item #1 is from MutedRoseEmbroidery
I am loving this cute embroidery! The stitching of the cactus and succulents in incredible, and I really like the combination of colors with the fabric chosen as the background. The polka dots make it really interesting. This cutie would look great and any room in your home and is a nice size at 4 inches in diameter. The designer is willing to work with you on the fabric choices to make it a little more custom to your liking, but this one is really awesome ;)
Item #2 is from JewelleryForWorld
The combination of succulents in this pair of earrings is absolutely perfect! You get both warm and cool colors and three types of succulents. These earrings are on ear wires (meaning they dangle a little). They would be a wonderful addition to your jewelry stash and will get many compliments on them!
Item #3 is from PlantsInMind
This is so pretty! It's a hanging terrarium for your succulents! This one is a hand-blown, teardrop shape that has blue sea sand (gorgeous!), mini seashells, starfish, and moss inside; and it sits in a moss-filled silver tray. You can hang this terrarium with the sisal rope attached or leave it in the tray--either way it will look absolutely gorgeous. That blue sea sand is just stunning and really makes it pop. If you live in Canada, you can get the succulents included, but it you live in the US, you will have to find your own succulents--thank you, customs. Succulents are pretty easy to keep alive. They will develop roots into the moss and usually only need to be sprayed with water once a week--something even those with black thumbs can keep alive!
Item #4 is from CollectedEdition
OMG! This is everything I love in a ring! Succulents and stacking rings! Oh my!! This is actually one of a 5 piece set of succulent rings (gotta have them ALL) that are sold separately to allow you to create your own set. There are four different finishes to choose from: raw brass, raw bronze, raw silver, polished brass, polished bronze, polished silver, 14KT rose gold, 14KT white gold, and 14 KT yellow gold. They are all really pretty, but I think I'm liking the raw ones--the texture really draw my eye. All of the raw pieces have been tumble polished to leave a rougher texture while the others have been polished for a shiny surface. The brass and bronze options have also been sealed with a protective clear coat to prevent tarnishing. You could wear these beauties anywhere with anything. Definitely a must have!
Item #5 is from DoGoodDecor
This wreath is absolutely gorgeous! I love the color combination and variety of succulents included. They look stunning against the grapevine wreath, and the moss added another interesting texture to it. This would look beautiful on the front door (I would probably keep this up year round because it's so pretty), as wedding decor, or maybe as a decoration for your office or classroom door! Part of the profits will go to charities that help support children in foster care, so not only are you getting a gorgeous decoration, but you are also helping those in need.
Item #6 is from WhenAdamMetEve
These earrings are a little different since they don't feature 3D succulents, but I love the take on them. I think these send the message that you are a little more quirky sand like unique things (like I do). The shapes are laser cut from wood and then color is added. The colors do provide a nice pop, while the brown balances them out. They'll go with a number of outfits, and I'm sure you will get lots of compliments on them!
Item #7 is from EtenIren
Here is another gorgeous ring! Actually I love everything in her shop! When I feature items, I try to use only one item per shop, but a majority of what I was liking from from this designer! It's all so pretty. Each leaf of the succulent has been handmade using polymer clay---if you've never used this before, let me tell you, if you aren't an expert, it will drive you nuts. I don't have the patience for it..haha. The succulents were hand sculpted and "planted" into the wooden ring base. It resembles a planter actually. The ring base does look like it has some detail on the sides, and I think that it just adds to the beauty of this piece. I think this would be a cute detail to add to pretty much any of your outfits--any of her items would be great.
Item #8 is from MarieLoraine
This sticker had be giggling this morning, and that takes a lot when I've not slept well the night before and haven't had caffeine yet. I guess you can say I'm not a morning person? Vinyl stickers have multiple uses because you can stick them pretty much anywhere your little heart desires! You can put it on your laptop, your thermos cup (or Yeti cup), some sort of case, or the rear window in your car. This one is a pun, so make sure to put it somewhere where it can be seen by others and give them a little giggle, too!
I've got a surprise for you this week! What to get down and DIY? I've got two places for you to check out!!

Ahoy, matey!! Welcome back for another edition of Weekly Wednesday, where I feature fabulous handmade items from Etsy! This week we're jumping into the sailing life with a nautical theme! I thought it would be pretty neat...lots of people are still out on their boats having fun in September. Starboard, port, aft, enjoy!
Item #1 is from BlueRidgeNotions
I really love how simple this ring is! It's very minimalistic, but it also has the detail of the rope band. It's actually made from two 1 mm bands that form the single knot on the top. The ring is made of sterling silver and comes in sizes 2-12 and includes half and quarter sizes. It's always good to see that because rarely does anyone have a ring size that's a whole number (or maybe it's just me).
Item #2 is from Theshabbyshak
This shadow box of sailor's knot is really neat and would be great for anyone who loves sailing. This piece features nine types of nautical knots on a navy blue background with metal labels specifying each knot. The frame has been refinished, painted with the color "ocean blue," and then given a distressed finish. It's very rustic and something you would associate with boating even without the knots.
Item #3 is from MyLimoIsWaiting
I've always liked spoon jewelry. I for some reason think it's more popular in the south, but I'm not entirely sure on that one. I had a bracelet at one point. Leave to me to be a southern girl and hate monograms but like spoon rings! haha. This ring is made out of an antique silver-plated spoon that has had a silver anchor added to it for more detail. The anchor itself is torch soldered on, so you definitely don't have to worry about it coming off. This ring is adjustable and fits sizes 6-10, so it saves you the trouble of figuring out your finger size if you don't already know it. It would be great for casual or business casual dress or for a night out.
Item #4 is from BeachDwellerBoutique
This is really cool and seems like it would be something you would see in a beach hotel. I even could see this in a pool house or something like that. The towels look so inviting even! The wood for this piece has been upcycled (yay!) as has the box it is shipped in. A dock cleat holds the towels or other items on the shelf. This would be great if you're short on storage or don't have the floor space for cabinetry. This would even be awesome for when you have guests over--the towels are right there.
Item #5 is from nurdanceyiz
This makes me want to curl up and take a nice nap. I love duvet covers, but I don't know why because they are a bitch to put on. I usually end up climbing inside to straighten everything out. It's gotten easier since I learned a hack about putting it back on, but sometimes it still gives me trouble. I really like that it allows me to change up the print...I get bored when it's always the same. This particular duvet would allow you to mixed and match pillow patterns and blankets. It would look good even by itself--it has detail but not too much. You can get this in twin, twin xl, full, queen, and king sizes.
Item #6 is from ModernPrintDesigns
I'll go ahead and say it. I love my wine. I prefer the whites over the reds, because the reds are too bitter to me. Anyway, this is a set of 4 stemless wine glasses that have had images on a lighthouse, sailboat, anchor, and ship's wheel sandblasted on them. They would be perfect for the beach/coastal areas or for those that sail or live around a lake. With these you also wouldn't have to use the glass markers to tell whose glass is whose (you really couldn't use them since the glasses are stemless..haha)--you just have to remember what image was on your glass.
Item #7 is from AllisonColeJewelry
Here we have an anchor bracelet. It's made of navy blue rope and has an anchor as a closure (very appropriate). I could see this being combined with other bracelets from this shop or with a gold cuff or set of bangles. If you want a snug fit, make sure to order a half in larger than your wrist size; for a looser fit, order one inch larger. If you're going to be on a boat dealing with ropes and sails, I would suggest a snug fit just to ensure your safety.
Item #8 is from OMearasCottageCharm
I've always liked sand dollars and seashells. Starfish are ok, too. I've even been lucky enough to grab a whole sand dollar out of the ocean! This listing comes as a set of three --a shell, starfish, and a sand dollar. The frames are a matte white and a grey burlap has been used for adding texture. These are very nice and would be great for pretty much any room in your home. You could hang them, lean them, or put them on a standing holder. If you love the beach, but don't live there (or even if you do), these would be great for you.
Item #9 is from MysticKnotwork
I've always thought that these knots were really neat. I would probably drive myself crazy making one. This trivet will protect your table or counter from the heat of dishes right out of the oven or off the stove. It is made of natural white cotton rope, and the ends have been tied off to prevent fraying. I think it would look great whether the decor in your kitchen (or even your outdoor area) isn't nautical themed.
Item #10 is from
Compasses were what travelers used way before GPS and maps, but this one won't get you home if you're lost! It is really pretty though, so that has to count for something, right? The compass sits on top of a sterling silver rope band. The rope bands are really pretty and lend themselves well to making a stacked ring. This one would look great as a stacked ring in my opinion and would be great for anyone!
I hope you all have gotten your sea legs going and have enjoyed this nautical themed edition of Weekly Wednesday! Do any of you sail or do the boat life on the weekends? Let me know in the comments what you love about sailing or going out on a boat! Make sure you head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!

Hello, everyone!! Welcome back to another Weekly Wednesday Post! Since I've been featuring things that rival unicorns, I thought, "What a better way to wrap it up than to feature Mermaids?!" And that is exactly what you're getting this week. Now, don't kill me, but I'm not an overly huge fan of mermaids..they're ok, but not something I must have. I know how popular they are, but I just can't jump on board with the all things mermaid group. I really think it may be a fish and scale thing (I don't like any kind of seafood, and scales just make me cringe a bit) BUT, I did want to do this post for you because I do like these items, and I wanted to share them with those of you who do love mermaids more than me ;)
Item #1 is from BelaAnelaJewelry
I will have to say that this necklace is absolutely gorgeous! I personally think this is my favorite mermaid themed necklace on Etsy. It's so feminine and delicate. The wire is gold-filled, but you can get it in rose gold or sterling silver. I'm totally loving the gold filled. Actually I'm in love with the combination in the picture. It's very neutral, goes with anything, and is just gorgeous. You can choose two different flake colors and whether or not to add the starfish. Like I said...gold-filled, starfish, and gold glitter. I really think its the difference in the sizing of the glitters that makes the gold glitter stand out the most to me, but whatevs...whatever floats your boat :)
Item #2 is from BeachHouseDreamsHome
I picked these bookends because they would be something unique to have in your home. I'm a lover of unique things, and these suit that. These bookends are about 9 inches tall, 7 inches wide, and are very heavy (Note to all clumsy people like me: DO NOT drop on foot). The mermaids have been painted a very beachy robin's egg blue and distressed by the makers. I feel like they would hold up several heavy books considering their weight, but it wouldn't have to be several; maybe just a few so that the mermaids are center stage.
Item #3 is from OwingsDesigns
Calling all wine drinkers! I had a little laugh at this one. *Do be careful when drinking...don't drink too much..and stay away from cars!* Wine is just too good--my favorite is white; I just don't like how bitter the reds are. You can customize the color of the phrase and the mermaid--both are in a permanent, outdoor vinyl, so you don't have to worry about peeling. Cheers!
Item #4 is from CreativeSpiritGlass
Do you ever want to be able to see where you're going at night without having to turn the main light on? I know I do, because I feel like a mole when I flip the light switch! This stained glass night light might just do the trick! You'll have a soft teal light showing you the way. The stained glass has been detailed with a mermaid figure and decorative beading. If you want a different color of glass, you can get that custom made, but I really think the teal resonates with the mermaid theme.
Item #5 is from CHAiNGEthesubject
These are some fun little earrings. They are about the size of a dime in height and are mounted on surgical steel posts. These would be great for wearing on a girls' night out or on a summer trip--really though..just do your thang ;)
Item #6 is from MorrellDecor
I could see these knobs in a mermaid lover's bathroom or bedroom...maybe the kitchen. I love the distressed look, but there are other options. Seriously...go for this color...it's too gorgeous! They come in a set of two--the mermaids face each other. Get your decorating on!
Item #7 is from LittleCraneSoapCo
How could I not include bath bombs? Couldn't you just see a mermaid taking a luxurious bath with these? These are moisturizing and fragrant without the use of parabens and detergents. I really like this because I feel like even though we're focusing on what's been sprayed on our foods, we really aren't paying attention to what's being absorbed through our skin. I mean, how many harmful products is our skin coming into contact with each day?---most likely a large number. Protect your skin, too! The lovely smell of these bath bombs is ocean breeze, fresh water, and freesia. Sea kelp, kaolin clay, and Himalayan salt are also ingredients. Sea kelp has several amino acids and minerals that provide antioxidants to remove toxins. Himalayan salt aids in relaxing muscle tension (we've all got some of that), and the Kaolin clay helps to draw out more impurities. A variety of oils has been added to moisturize the skin to leave you feeling soft and smooth after your bath.
Item #8 is from stavri
I love my bangle bracelets! This one is no different! The mermaid and shell have been soldered onto a vintage metal bracelet base to make a simple and pretty piece. Wear it anywhere you need some arm candy...on vacation, out to dinner, or just hang out at home with friends.
Item #9 from Jkdezigns
Let me tell you, there are A LOT of mermaid shirts on Etsy. I couldn't find one that I really felt was unique until I came across this one. I love how the mermaid tail is done in an almost iridescent color--like scales, and I really like the handwriting and the quote. It's different than the "Mermaid hair don't care," ones I kept seeing. You can get this as a regular or fitted t-shirt or a tank top and in a different color--I think this one is best!
Item #10 is from ShineBoxPrimitives
I swear I run out of hooks all the time. I'm always needing a hanging spot (I tend to lose things rather quickly without them)! I thought these were really pretty with their cast iron patina coloring. They'd be perfect for the mermaid fan! They come in a set of 3 and have a hanger on the back, so they are ready to go when you receive them!
That's all I have for you this week, my lovelies! I hope you have enjoyed this week's mermaid theme! I think mermaids are growing on me a little. Do you have a favorite mermaid item? Share it with me by leaving a comment! Now, make sure to head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!

Hello, everyone. It time for another edition of Weekly Wednesday full of fabulous handmade items. What's another thing we've been seeing more of recently besides unicorns and flamingos?? Pineapples!! Not only are they often associated with tropical vacations and fruity drink but they are also a way of symbolizing the welcoming of guests. Enjoy :)
Item #1 is from HouseSensationsArt
What a better way to say "Welcome, to my home," than with a pineapple. Pineapples have traditionally been used as a symbol of welcome in the south and the eastern seaboard. (Learn more here about the pineapple's history!) When I initially saw this front door decor, I thought it was wood, but it's actually metal! That's pretty neat! It is powder coated and cured with heat to make it able to withstand the weather. This pretty piece comes in two sizes: 26 inches x 13 inches and 20 inches x 10 inches. The size you pick depends on the size of your door. In addition to the sizes, there are also several color options, so if yellow or gold isn't your thing, there are other fabulous options!
Item #2 is from FrancyJewel
Alright! Time for some jewelry! I think this ring is pretty neat and simplistic---very minimalistic if you will. This ring was crafted from raw 999 silver by the maker into this form especially for its future owner. It will go well with any type of dress--casual or formal (because you don't have to have bling to be classy). You'll receive this from Italy in a pretty box with care instructions and a thank you card :)
Item #3 is from KatieAbeyDesign
I know! Technically this is not a pineapple, but it's an owl made up like a pineapple. That counts, right? Well, it does since I'm writing--haha. This is just too darn cute to not include! You can get this as a magnet, pin badge, key ring, or pocket mirror. Any of these would be great, but I could really see this on a refrigerator! Want to see more? She has lots of other cuteness in her shop!
Item #4 is from YourBags
You can never have too many bags, right? I didn't think so. This is a pineapple-print, canvas drawstring bag. This would be great for carrying your stuff pretty much anywhere--to the lake, to the pool, to the coffee shop, etc. The pineapples are really cute, and if you look closely, you can see that they are formed from stars! That's so neat! The inside of the bag is fully lined and has two pockets...Pockets!! You can never have too many pockets.
Item #5 is from WeArePaperPlane
I'm really loving the color variation in this print! The colors give it so much dimension. And it's not just browns and greens! You have pinks and purples and blues, and oranges! The mint/light blue background really just makes it pop. You can get this print in size A4 or A3 to add to your gallery wall or to hang on its own. Now I want to do a gallery wall...hmmmm.
Item #6 is from NickelDesignsShop
Want to keep the summer alive even after it's gone? You can do it with this 'Aloha Beaches' door mat. You can take the phrase however you want as in literally, 'hello beaches,' or well, you know the other way. All of the designs are hand painted on door mats made from coir fibers (from coconut husk) with a vinyl backing. The coconut husk is resistant to mold and mildew, so you don't have to worry about any of that nastiness. The paint is all-weather paint and the mat has been sealed with a special UV sealant so your door mat stays pretty and welcoming :)
item #7 is from TheBlueRoseKY
I thought this pineapple racer back tee was pretty cute, and since it's been terribly hot here in TN, it would be a perfect way to keep cool. It is flow and is longer cut, which I love because I'm not a fan of short shirts that barely meet the top of your shorts/pants. With it being flowy, you'll probably catch a nice little breeze, too. I really like the gold and charcoal gray together...it's a nice combination. Hello, Kentucky!
Item #8 is from DesignAtelierArticle
I looked and looked for pineapple bookends that really stood out to me, and I didn't think I was going to find any...until I stumbled across this set. Don't you hate it when your books keep falling over or you have to flip them different directions to keep them in place? That's why you need some sort of book end. I think these are really cute and would look great in the kitchen, living area, bedroom, or in your office. This particular set is made from sheet steel and comes as a set. Gotta love the yellow color, too!
Item #9 is from Designbydd
I included a ring, so I obviously had to include some earrings! These are also great for any sort of dress and come in one of three different colors--rose gold, gold, and sterling silver. Can't decide which one you like? Get all three! That way you have a color to match any outfit! All three are really pretty. Wear them on vay-cay, during the summertime, or any time you damn well please.
Item #10 is from UrbanRagsUSA
Do you ever want to bring something tropical into your life when it's cold and dreary in the fall and winter? I feel like everyone does at some point! This is a long sleeve t-shirt with a pineapple logo image. I think it's cute with just the right amount of detail. And I love the length of this one! It's a hip length, slouchy shirt that won't be too short. It's very versatile as it can be worn on or off the shoulders. Make sure you order a size up since it will be a little tighter on the hips and be ready to make your day a little bit brighter!
Item #11 is from ForSuchATimeDesigns
Stamped metal has always been really pretty to me and always stood out. This fork is no different! This is especially for when you're eating your pineapple on a hot summer day wishing you were somewhere tropical. I really like that the pineapple stamp was continued up the tines--it gives it more detail. All of the pieces in the maker's shop are repurposed (love this!). Everything deserves a second chance at life, and it is so much fun treasure hunting! Make sure to check out the rest of the shop as there are many awesome items!
Item #12 is from NutmegandArlo
I had myself a little giggle when I saw this pineapple pine. He's sort of a cool pineapple, and his name is Pedro. He has gold metal detailing, glitter enamel, and some rockin' shades! He would look cute and add some cool to your shirt, jacket, or bag! (This has absolutely nothing to do with the pin, but I have the heart and cloud washi tape in the background haha).
Item #13 is from ManyMornings
I actually decided to feature two things from this shop because there were both men's and women's versions of the same sock. It'd be a cute way to match without it being so obvious as wearing matching clothing. It'd be a little secret between the two of you. I love that these don't match but in a way they do because both have a pineapple on them (the yellow sections and the actual fruit). They're different from what you normally see, and I like that! Another awesome thing they do is part of the Share A Pair initiative-when you buy a pair of these socks, they donate a pair to those in need!
Item #14 is from TrueNorthCollection
I've been doing a lot of cardio here lately, and I sweat...A LOT. Cardio has kind of grown on me but it's still hard. I always have these tiny pieces of hair that curl and then end up tickling my face while I'm jumping. In addition to being all sweaty, there are plenty of other times that you just want to keep your hair out of your face (especially when it's long)--in the car with the windows down, cleaning, etc. These headbands come in a variety of prints and is made from a stretchy, lightweight fabric that keeps it all in place.
Item #15 is from SimplyHeaven
Have you ever been somewhere and needed a bottle opener? Yes, I know a lot are twist tops now, but sometimes, you need a little help. Never be without one with this classy pineapple bottle opener. This one is actually a set of favors that come in a set of 6. These would be awesome gifts at Christmas for co-workers or as stocking stuffers (and weddings)!
That's of the the pineapple-y goodness I have for you today my lovelies. I hope You've enjoyed this week's edition of Weekly Wednesday. Have a favorite pineapple-themed item? Show me below in the comments. Now, make sure to head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!

Hello, everyone! I've got a little something different this week for you, and I hope that you enjoy it ;) Instead of a themed roundup, I thought I would do a post on creating a space. I have always loved the Moroccan style and hope to be able to visit there some day. Are you ready for some color, some pattern?
Item #1 is from ArtMosaicLamps
These lamps are so gorgeous! I like that these are simple, but I also like the brightly colored lamps as well. The length of these lamps is 38 inches but it can be customized to your liking. There is also a customization option for the globes as well. Aside from globes, highly detailed lanterns would also evoke a Moroccan style.
Item #2 is from TraditionalCarpets
This rug looks to soft and allows you to set the scene for your Moroccan oasis. This particular rug is acutally a Beni Ourain rug and is the softest you will ever run in to because it's made of 100% sheep wool. Can you imagine the feeling under your feet!!?! I bet it's wonderful. I like that the pattern is very minimal but still adds detail to the floor area. You may think these rugs are pricey, but you are getting an authentic Moroccan rug that is created in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco--it doesn't get any better than that!
Item #3 is from pillowme
I really love the deep, rich colors of this pillow. The combination is actually quite striking. Kilims are usually aged for several years and colored with vegetal dyes, which come from a single source or a combination of sources like roots, berries, barks, or seeds. This pillow is handwoven from Anatolia and Middleast Kilim fragments. Each one is cut from leftover carpet, making each one completely and totally unique! These pillows are about 16 inches by 24 inches in size and do not include the pillow insert (allows you to pick one based on your liking).
Item #4 is from Recycledillumination
I have always wanted one of these star lights! I always thought they were so neat with there geometry. This light hangs and includes a candelabra bulb that can be changed through a little door. I feel like these would be great for pretty much any room in your home, especially areas that you want to make look nice and cozy. This design is actually known as the Moravian Star, and it's geometric shape is the great stellated dodecahedron (reminds me of my high school chemistry class when we made crystal shapes). For more history on this awesome light check out Apartment Therapy's post here.
Item #5 is from IndigoandRust
oh, how I love architectural salvage stores! I went to one in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin and was amazed at the variety of items they had. This re-purposed mirror is actually from a reclaimed Indian door panel. Yes, I said Indian..there are lots of similarities between the architecture. This would be a great addition to a bathroom, entryway, bedroom, or a space you want to open up.
Item #6 is from ruralkantha
Oh, how I love anything kantha! The fabrics are gorgeous--so colorful and pretty patterns. I actually have a kantha throw, and I love it! I feel like it adds a little somethin'-somethin' to the room--a little pizzazz! (I really want to get another piece!) These are made from vintage kantha bedspreads and are sewn together to form the pouf shape. This particular pouf will come without the interior stuffing, so you will need to work on your pouf-packing skills (it's not difficult; you just want to make sure it is firm).
Item #7 is from MoroccanTribal
In my opinion, you can never have too many blankets! Sometimes you need a really plush one, and other times, you need one that will keep you warm. This is a wool blanket that would be perfect for your bed or as a throw on your couch or over-sized chair. The pom poms add a nice playful touch to it , I think. The wool for these blankets is cleans and hand spun by local women in Fes and are then hand woven by local artisans. All colors are natural dyes, and most any color is possible, so customization is an option.
Item #8 is from DeCorPasedena
This coffee table is hand carved from teak. It has very intricate detail with the spindles and lattice work around the sides. With this table, you will not have to worry about your things piling up under it because you really cannot put stuff underneath it, but it is possible that your cat or dog may knock one of their play toys under. Maybe it is the best place to corral those items! I think a coffee table is must in any living area, because it kind of ties the room together plus you need to have somewhere to put your drink and maybe a couple of reading materials. My fiance would probably argue that point with the idea that it's a place to accumulate junk (not if you pick your stuff up) and it's in the way if you open the foot rest and lay back (we don't all stretch out as far as we can handsome!).
Item #9 is from LoomSweetLoom
Isn't this tray gorgeous?! I love the detail it has. I could see this having multiple uses. You could display candles, a small plant with some books, drinks, etc. I could really see using different sizes of these and layering them or creating a wall display! Kind of DIY wall art! This is also another authentic Moroccan piece to add to the charm of your home.
Item #10 is from MedallionsPlusStore
I saw these tiles and was drawn to them immediately. I actually want them in my own kitchen when we get around to renovating it!! I don't think that the use of this is limited to the kitchen either...I could see it being used for an accent wall in the living area, bathroom, or bedroom! Your options are pretty much limitless with this. I love it because it is so different from what you would normally see in tile work and because of it's neat geometry. This set comes as a 12 x 12 inch tile, so you will need more than one to complete your project.
That's all for what you need to create your own Moroccan oasis. I hope you've gotten some ideas from these items I've shown you and I hope you've garnered a new appreciation for the Moroccan style! Now, head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!
Until next time,

Hello, everyone! I know you all know it's summer, but let's think about something that we usually associate with summers (at least in the south!). Any ideas? It's lemon! Makes sense doesn't it? Sweet tea with lemon, lemonade, etc. Now here's another quirk about me---not a huge fan of lemonade (but I do like strawberry lemonade daquiris). My mom and dad always told me about how I like to suck on lemons when I was little, but you won't catch me doing it now! My mouth almost does like cartoon characters' mouths do--everything puckers up! I do like the smell of lemons, etc...just not lemonade, so I've opted to do a citrusy themed post this week! I hope you enjoy :)
Item #1 is from ThePennyPaperCo
I'm sure everyone is aware that enamel pins are the popular item to have right now! I can understand the popularity...I mean...they're pretty darn cute, and they can go on your clothes or on a bag of some sort (or maybe on your cork board?). This particular pin says, "Easy peasy lemon squeezy."
Too cute! It has gold enamel and a butterfly clip for the backing. Lots of pins to choose from! I'm also loving the llama pin :)
Item #2 is from PopOColor
I saw these pillow covers and immediately fell in love with them! The colors are so rich, and there's something a little bit retro about them. The patterns are large enough the each pillow cover will be a different portion of the pattern (I'm sure it's all gorgeous!). They come in a variety of sizes and you can get the pattern on both sides! That way you can just flip it and it will look like you've got a new pillow. The inserts are sold separately, but I will link you to them here.
Item #3 is from twoinspireyou
I really love how simple and gorgeous this wreath is! It would look great on anyone's front door. I think doors need a little decoration because that's where you welcome people into your home and where they get their first impression. The striped ribbon also adds a nice flair. I can definitely see why the designer has been asked to recreated this one more than once! The colors go really well together and the texture is well balanced. Grab yourself a summer wreath and spruce up your home, and check out all of her other fabulous creations!
Item #4 is from SilverDollarCandleCo
Make your home smell nice, clean, and fresh with a lemon sherbet candle! Who doesn't love candles? I honestly, don't think you can ever have enough..haha. This is a 16 ounce soy candle with lemon top notes followed by lime, a bergamot (with a slight rose scent) in the middle, and a woodsy bottom note finish. Those smells sound amazing! How long do they burn you ask? 75-100 hours (awesome!) You can also add a short message on the top if you would like. These candles are a perfect gift for almost and person or occasion!
Item #5 is from AutumnbloomsbyKami
Lavender, Lemon, Honey. MMMmmm. I bet these soaps smell wonderful and are invigorating, yet soothing. All the ingredients sound familiar and include essential oils and goat's milk.
