Hello, everyone! How are you?? I hope you are all doing well and are ready for some neat hair accessories. I thought this would be a good topic for this week primarily because I've been thinking about attempting to do something with my hair. I don't know who it will go considering the salon that did my hair for the wedding was having issues with it's weight.. I knew it was thick, but not how heavy it was! Anyway, I hope you enjoy and get some ideas for yourself as well!
Item #1 is from LovelyLittlesandCo
Normally, I have a terrible time getting anything to stay in my hair, but I think that this clip would actually stay in and not easily slide out. It's something different that the clips I grew up with and it's actually stylish. It's very simple and minimalistic--a perfect combination. You should also check out the maker's store for more stylish clips ;)
Item #2 is from uniquefeathers
I'll go ahead and say this...I normally am not a feather person, but I think that having a small strand like this in your hair might be sort of neat. I'm all for neat and interesting! I could see wearing this on the weekend during a night out or a day trip. I'm totally in love with the colors of this one! You've got a beautiful purple, green, teal, brown, and black. The extensions are 7-10 inches in length but you can get them longer by selecting an upgrade. These are DIY extensions, so do know what you're doing with your hair or at least be pretty confident in your skills--I unfortunately am not good in doing anything with my hair :(
Item #3 is from Kapelika
You know, sometimes you want to cover up that ugly hair elastic with something pretty. This will do the trick! You've got a choice of several different finishes: brass, copper, rustic copper, or German silver. I feel like this will make any low pony look more polished and can work for day or night!
Item #4 is from CireAlexandria
I saw this and thought it was a pretty interesting piece. It's simple, modern, and very minimalistic. You can use it to put your hair up in a number of ways--you pick! Each pin is hand hammered, stamped, and cut, so each piece is unique. The maker does have a link to a video to show how to make this beauty work in your hair in case you're like me and hair-do challenged!
Item #5 is from TheLittleLab
My favorite thing about this piece is how natural and rustic it looks! The color is considered to be oxidized copper. It is great for short and long hair (definite plus) and holds hair securely. This looks like it would be easy to use for hair-do challenged people as well as those who are pros! Each piece is shaped by hand and the sharp edges have been sanded off.
Item #6 is from GoldAmour
I may have featured these before in a bee-themed post, but I really don't remember, so I'm going to feature them again. They're just too elegant not to share again! We all could use some detailed bobby pins right? I thought so ;) You can get these in silver, but I'll have to admit I'm totally digging the bronze ones! These would be perfect for absolutely any occasion--casual, formal, business--you're covered.
Item #7 is from TopKnotChicago
Last but not least, there are these awesome hair ties. I really love this kind because they do not leave that dreaded crease line where it was. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you are either (1) a guy or (2) have short hair. These come in so many prints and colors that you can't get in the regular everyday hair ties. These are a definite must for most women, and you cannot go wrong without them!
That's all I have for you today my lovelies! I hope you've gotten some ideas for different things you can wear in your hair. I know sometimes managing your mane is a challenge in itself. See ya next week! Oh! make sure to head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!
Until next time,

Hello, everyone! How are you? I hope everything is going well and that the week is treating you ok! This week, I though it would be an interesting idea to look into items with fringe. This trend has been very "in" now for a few years, but I've never really delved into it...maybe it's because I have a cat, and those two things don't mix (you're just asking to be a scratch post or have something scratched to bits). I still don't own anything with fringe but I thought I'd give it a go for you all :) Enjoy!
Item #1 is from BWayUA
Do you ever need to carry something for a night out but need it to be smaller than a purse but larger than a wristlet? Me, too...lots of times (although I do tend to just take my debit card and ID and put it in the fiance's wallet a lot as well). I could see this being an awesome gift for bridesmaids, birthdays, or Christmas. If a lady carries a purse she needs one of these, so her significant other doesn't make her carry all of his/her stuff too. I love the color combination with the denim and the two browns of the leather. The tassels add a little bit of a pop to the fringe already on the bag. You can also turn this into a crossbody, but I'm really liking the idea of a clutch. Seems more trendy to me or maybe the start of a trend.
Item #2 is from SeaSaltShop
Aren't these cute earrings? They're baby tassels and more of a fringe than the really long ones! The original ones that I was going to feature sold before I was writing this post, so I had to find a different pair to feature. The baby tassels hang from a hammered drop and the traditional ear wire. You can get these in one of three colors (one of which is the one I was going to feature)--black, red, or off white. In all, they are about 2.5 inches long, so I wouldn't wear a really detailed necklace or a statement piece with them--try a more minimal look!
Item #3 is from BOHOLINEN
Who doesn't love a cozy blanket? I probably have too many, but is there really ever such a thing as too many blankets? I think not! This is a lightweight but heavy duty blanket made from Turkish cotton. It's not a small blanket either--80 inches x 99 inches!! You can use this for anything--bed spread, picnic blanket, beach blanket, whatever you can think of! Remember...you can never have enough blankets, and it's always good to change it up every now and again!
Item #4 is from HippieMassa
Kimonos have been very trendy during the last few years, and it looks like they are here to stay for a while. While I personally cannot wear anything with long fringe like this (I have a kitty), I do think this is really pretty. My cat would think it was a toy and scratch my legs to pieces! It looks like a dusty rose color and the print on it looks like it has a velvety texture. It's be great for a slightly cool fall night out with your favorite person or group of friends.
Item #5 is from BooandBooFactory
I'm absolutely loving the color of these earrings! The color combination is so pretty! And that pop of turquoise!! You've got primarily warm, analogous colors with a beautiful cool color to balance it out. This set is made entirely out of leather that has been cut to form the fringe and the shapes in the photo above. You do have a choice as far as the color of the ear wires--silver toned, gold, or bronze toned. These would look great with a solid colored dress or top of the same or of a contrasting color. I would not suggest wearing a lot of other jewelry with these because you really want the earrings to make a statement in addition to not making your outfit look like there is way too much going on. I'm adding these to my wish list, and I think you should do the same!
Item #6 is from 1920sDresses
I wish wearing these dresses everyday was in. They look SO fun! Alas, they are not and again my cat. I could see wearing this to a Halloween party or out to a night club though (maybe I could get out of the house before the cat attacks??). This much fringe conveys so much texture and movement. Even if it isn't something you would wear, you have to appreciate the different aspects of the dress itself. I like the slight v-neckline of it too--probably moreso than I would a scoop neck.
Item #7 is from taneesijewelry
Is this not an amazing necklace?!? It'd look like you were an Egyptian goddess if you wore this. It'd be an excellent statement piece to rock on a night out. I feel like it would make you look like a fierce and powerful individual. You can get this in three colors: silver, gold, or black. I think the gold is really the most striking. You can wear it with almost anything--casual, business casual, or night out dressy! Versatility is always a great thing when picking out jewelry. This piece has a nice texture to it, and I really like how the length tapers down to the end on the sides of the necklace. Grab it and make a statement!
That's all I have for you this week, my lovelies. I hope you've enjoyed this very fringey edition of weekly favorites. Heck, I may have even found a couple of things I really want enough though I do have a cat! What do you all think about the fringe trend? Is it could to last or fail within the next couple of years? Let me know! I love reading your comments :) Now head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!

Hello, everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful Wednesday! This week I thought it'd be fun to do a throwback to how I originally posted. I use to only post about jewelry, but I later decided to expand a little further out. For this edition, I'm going to do a post featuring minimalist jewelry. It's always so versatile, and more often than not, less is more. Enjoy!
Item #1 is from DianeMabry
These earrings are certainly stunning! They are made from a single piece of sterling silver that was formed to this shape and then the end hammered and polished for a nice shine. They are about two inches long, and the designer has included rubber backings for a secure fit. I don't really know how these could come off without you knowing, but then again I've never had any like these (My hair would probably pull them out!). I'm really liking how sleek these are! That's what gives them the minimal quality. I think it'd be awesome to see these in different colors too! Make sure to stop by and grab a pair to step your outfit up a level!
Item #2 is from ArkensJewelryBox
How could I do a minimal themed post without including some stacking rings? I obviously could not resist. What's great about stackable rings is that they can be worn alone or in a set. Either way, they still look minimal. If you were this ring by itself, you get some texture and visual interest, but if you wear it as a set, you get a mixture of textures. make sure to add this one to your wishlist.
Item #3 is from LittleImpJewellery
I love how this necklace makes a big statement even though it's a small piece. As the name of the item states, it does look like a moon crater. The pendant is handforged by the the designer's studio. The way the piece was created leaves a lovely texture on the inside and a smooth, shiny surface on the outside. It's very contemporary; very sleek. There is also a set of earrings that go with this necklace if you want to complete the set. It's a versatile piece (like most of the other items featured) and can be worn at a variety of occasions.
item #4 is from WROXdesign
The open square on these earrings is SO cool! They've got a very modern, minimal feel to them. I especially like the matte finish--it gives the earrings a nice texture, but you can also get these with a shiny finish. You also get a choice as to the length of them--1, 1.5, or 2 inches. I think the longer they are, the more elegant they will look, so I'd shoot for the 2 inches. Gorgeous piece to add to your jewelry stash!
Item #5 is from ByliaJewels
So, I don't know if you would consider this ring to be minimal, but I really feel like it is. It has straight lines, which are a hug part of minimalism. You do have more than one thing going on, but the direction is either vertical or horizontal. There is a nice little row of white zirconia stone running across that add a nice bit of bling to the piece. For the crystal, you can get either clear or rose quartz, and for the ring you can get 18k gold plated 925 silver or just 925 silver. Either combination would be pretty, but the rose quartz paired with the gold plated silver would be the most stunning. You could wear this ring by itself or with other rings as a stacking piece or with other rings on different fingers depending on the look you are going for.
Item #6 is from WildFawnJewellery
I really like how these earring look like they're floating! It's magic! The circle has been hammered for a nice visual texture which adds to its character. All jewelry created by this designer is made with eco-friendly methods--ie, recycled stainless steel, no harsh chemicals in the manufacturing process. These will make definitely make a statement as people will be looking at how they float!
Item #7 is from ConcretelyShop
I saw this necklace and immediately thought it was unique. You all know that I really like my concrete jewelry, and rose gold is growing on me (enough to wear my phone is rose gold). I was literally just thinking, "is that rose gold foil pieces, or are parts actually cut out of the concrete and rose gold foil applied?" It's just rose gold foil applied flat against the smooth concrete. I love the illusion it creates, though! The concrete pendant will come on a rose gold plated chain that comes in two different lengths. There are not a lot of people who do concrete jewelry really well, but this designer has the skill down!
Item #8 is from lunaijewelry
These earrings are very unique (especially in how you wear them). You wear these with the hook part hugging your earlobe. The jewel will be right against where your ear is pierced. You can get this earring set in a shiny silver or a 22K yellow gold plated sterling silver. I'm personally loving the gold plated option. It looks absolutely stunning with the baguette cut aquamarine.
Item #9 is from SheinaJewelry
I love that this ring has a little bit of bling in it while still being very minimal. It's very delicate and feminine. I think it'd be one that you could wear on any finger, but it really depends on your style. I've gotten to where I like to wear rings on any of my fingers--if they fit every finger. Quick question regarding ring sizes: Has anyone else noticed that the fingers on your dominant hand tend to be bigger than the nondominant one? Maybe it's just the knuckles, but I've got a few rings that fit the index finger on my left hand but don't fit the index finger on my right hand. Weird, huh? Now, back on topic. I could see this one being worn with multiple different outfits, so you're not limited to wearing it with certain outfits..it's very versatile.
Item #10 is from CandiceVostrejs
This is a pretty interesting set of bangles. I really like the texture of them. Two of the bangles are smooth and three are textured. It adds a nice bit of visual interest. The set comes for wrists that measure 55 inches to 7 inches around. I think I'd rather have them bigger because I like mine to be a little bit loose to allow for movement. These would be great for adding some detail to your outfit and would look great in casual or business casual dress.
That's all I have for you this week, everyone! I hope you've enjoyed this throw back style post on minimal jewelry, and I hope that you have found some items that you want to add to your jewelry stash.
Hello, everyone! Are you ready for another fun-filled, weekly post of some awesome items? I've been seeing a lot of enamel pins throughout the last several months, and they are still very trendy and just fun in general. They are a great way to express yourself and show off some of the things you love. I figured it was about time to do a pretty long post. Hope you enjoy! (Warning: Pins may induce lots of nostalgia)
Item #1 is from ShopZoki
Sloths are one of my favorite animals! They just move so slow that it's funny. Their cuteness makes it even better. This little guy is munching on some watermelon. The pin is held on with two clutches and a double pin back to make sure the hold is secure. He would definitely brighten up your day and the day of anyone else who happens to catch a glimpse of him.
Item #2 is from HennelPaperCo
I love this pin! I actually need it because I love cats! I've always had them throughout my life--I've had way more sweet moments than jerk moments with the ones I had (actually, I don't think I've really had any jerk moments). This pin looks like it's a very happy tabby cat and has a little heart on it. It makes me want to grab CoCo and give her kisses. The pin has a butterfly closure and is about 1.25 inches at its widest point.
Item #3 is from Grimestreet
Talk about the nostalgia associated with this one! It takes me back! Does anyone else remember Rocko? Maybe I'm showing my age here...hmmm. It was a cartoon show on Nickelodeon in the 90s. It was one of my favorite shows (that I still watch if I can find it on youtube). It is double posted for a more secure hold. Make sure to get one as it will bring all Rocko fans together!
Item #4 is from sweetandlovely
I so identify with this one. I'll be the first one to tell you that I'm a strange bird. I'm a little odd--the black sheep of the family if you will. All in all I'm a weirdo, and nothing is wrong with that. ;) I like that the designer chose a heart to put the words in because it seems to me that it shows you are embracing who you are.
Item #5 is from carolyndraws
I probably love sleep a little too much! I like to sleep late and taking naps, but my naps are more like small comas. I'll sleep for 3 hours. Forget that 30 minute mess! You'll get a grumpy person if that's all I get to sleep. This pin is about 1.25 inches wide and has a butterfly clasp to hold it on. This would be great for any professional sleeper to put on their bag, jacket or hat.
Item # 6 is from AnatomicalElement
The first thing I saw when looking at this pin was the work "think" inside the brain. Haha. That's neat, and it looks like the folds, too. I always found anatomy interesting when I was in college (heads out of the gutter! I took A&P). The human body is just amazing. This pin has a rubber clutch to hold the pin in place. It would look great on a bag, lanyard, or jacket; and would be a wonderful reminder for people to "think."
Item #7 is from Enamelpinco
If you don't watch "Rick and Morty," you'll probably wonder why I'm posting this. You seriously need to watch it if you've not seen it. Its been along wait for season 3 (2 years +, I think), but I think the episodes have turned out to be worth the wait. In this particular episode, Rick turns himself into a pickle to avoid family therapy. It snowballs (the family had a dog named Snowball too) from there. This pin is double posted with deluxe locking clasps and is 1.5 inches in size.
Item #8 is from JayHyltonShop
Alright, this description contains a story and involved Game of Thrones. *Begins story....If you watch Game of Thrones, you know the theme song. Well, somehow my fiance, our roommate, and I came up with a song we sing EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. it comes on. It goes, "Wiener, wiener wiener, wiener wien chicken dinner chicken dinner (pronounce the "i" like the "i" in "ding"), and somehow we added "figgy pudding" to the mix. Don't ask how we came up with it. I'm not sure I remember it because it just sort of happened..haha. Yes, we are weirdos. I thought this pin was really appropriate for reminding us of that (and maybe now it's stuck in your head too). It's also great for those that think a chicken dinner is a winner!
Item #9 is from WeirdoWeapons
Does anyone else remember the Everlasting Gobstopper from the old Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? The one from 1971. That's the one I grew up on and could watch over and over again. I watched it so much that I could say the lines with the characters. It will always be a favorite of mine. The new one creeps the crap out of me. I don't know what it is, but it's dark the entire time; It's a no for me. Whenever Gene Wilder held up that Gobstopper, I always wished I could actually eat one. Well, you can technically eat one. Willy Wonka candies has Everlasting Gobstoppers, but to my deep disappointment, they do not resemble the treat from the movie. If it looked like the one from the movie, I might give them another try, but until then, I can do without. This pin would be a wonderful dose of nostalgia for those that really loved the old movie, and it would be a way to connect with other fans.
Item #10 is from millypins
This is another pin that takes me back! There are so many of these memory inducing pins today! Did anyone else eat the Kid's Cuinsines back int the 90s? They were so good even if the damn brownie never cooked or was hard! My favorite would have to be the chicken nuggets one, but I did eat the others (except the pizza, I never liked that one because it reminded me of the ones we had at school). I'm sure they've changed I lot since I last had one..haha.
Item #11 is from HeatherBuchanan
This reminds me of a breakfast item that I call a "toad in the hole." You may know is as an egg in a basket, egg in the hole, or cat in the hat. There are several terms for it, but not matter the terminology, we all can agree that it's an excellent dish (not just for breakfast). This dish is a piece of toast with a hole cut out of the middle and an egg cooked inside. It's a quick and easy fix, but not a hand-held treat..The yolk is supposed to be runny, and you use the bread to soak it up and literally clean the plate.
Item #12 is from KatyPillingerDesigns
Some days, alcohol is a necessity. Other days, it's just nice to drink. This would be perfect for any fan of gin or alcoholic beverages in general. This pin is an adult lemonade I guess you can say. I don't really know my liquors, I just order the pretty drinks ;)
Item #13 is from OHNORachio
Isn't this succulent pin cute? You all know I'm a huge fan of succulents. This one is no different. I don't have a story for this one---it's just cute.
Item #14 is from NostalgiaPinCo
Did anyone else's parents read them Goodnight, Moon? I remember this one being read several times when I was really young. And I did find a mouse of every page ,I believe. I'm sure you'll get a lot of nostalgic tails from fellow readers.
Item #15 is from LindseyBalbierz
Oh, how I love pancakes. They're so good! Do I prefer them over waffles? Of course! I also like all kinds..chocolate chip, banana, buckwheat, red velvet, you name it. We always get a big breakfast if we're going to be skipping lunch because it keep us full and energized until dinner time. *Insert buzz* Time for another quirk I have! I do not eat syrup or butter on my pancakes. I want to taste them, not the syrup or butter. Most people look at me like I'm crazy, but make sure to try it before bashing it ;) This pin would be awesome for any pancake lover in your life or even yourself if they're a breakfast go-to.
That's all I have for you this week, my lovelies! I hope you've enjoyed seeing all these pins! I know it really took me down memory lane, and that was so fun. I may have to grab a few of these for myself (or at least put them on my want list!) Now, make sure to head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!
Until next time,
p.s. Feel free to tag, like, tweet, share, or pin. <3
Hello, everyone! Welcome back! Are you ready for a new Weekly Wednesday??? I hope so! This week, I decided to go with a Spanish Tile theme. I've had this in mind to do for a while, but I never could really find anything (side note: I'd search 5 minutes in between everything I was doing and finding nothing). Well, last week I sat down and actually browsed for this particular theme. Guess what?? There are a lot of items that fit within this theme. I knew I couldn't have picked a theme that I couldn't find anything for! I have always loved the colors of Spanish tiles--they're so vibrant, like you can feel energy emanating from them. Enjoy!
Item #1 is from TexMexFunStuff
Don't we all need one more trinket box? For something small or for certain items? I think yes! This little box is 2.5x2.5x2 inches (length x width x height). It would be perfect for something small that you want to always keep track of. The hand-tooled, tin box has 2 x 2 inch talavera tile placed on top and a mirror bottom on the inside. Very neat! If I had something like this, I'd store my engagement ring in it, so I would always know where it was---right now I store it inside the box of the box it came in...gotta do something about that soon (*adds to favorites*).
Item #2 is from Atrio
I love how absolutely gorgeous these earrings are! I actually favorited them sometime ago before I decided to do a post on Spanish tiles! The colors are so pretty and compliment (complements compliment---haha--just one of my corny jokes) each other very nicely. The blue and green really balance out the orange, but the orange adds a very nice pop of color. These tiles are a replica of ones that were seen on a buildings in a small town in Portugal called Aveiro. Unfortunately, with time, many of the buildings have been demolished or fallen because of disrepair. I love how this artist is trying to preserve some history! Portugal and Spain are options for our honeymoon, so if that's where we go, I hope I get to see some pretty tiles! So in love with these!
item #3 is from CorinaCrooks
I will have to say that I got a bit too excited when I saw this ring (think heart eyes emoji, ok?) I love the colors and the detail of the setting of the ring. The setting is made from sterling silver and the handmade tile has been inlaid in it. The ring comes in sizes 6-10 and is one I could see looking very nice on any of the fingers! (Note to mom if you read this---remember the big 30 is coming up! I could definitely use something like this ;) )
Item #4 is from ShelleyCooperJewelry
I guess I never really thought of a tile cuff, but this is definitely gorgeous! It makes a very nice statement piece. The tile is placed inside a handmade, hammered bronze frame that has enamel accents. The texture of the bracelet really sets off the smoothness of the tile. You do have a choice of one of four tiles--all of which are equally gorgeous! As for the size, the tile itself is 1.5 inches across and the cuff is an adjustable 6 inches. This piece would go with almost any outfit and definitely make it pop.
Item #5 is from luxdivine
First off, I'll have to say that there are not a large number of Spanish tile necklaces on Etsy (at least ones that really caught my eye), but this one really drew my attention moreso than the others that I saw throughout my browsing. The tile is 1.5 inches in size and the necklace portion is made in a hand-knotted, mala style. The Tiger's Eye beads really add something to the tile and also makes the tile pop at the same time. The entire piece is 36 inches in length and perfect for all you boho and layering babes! Get it before it's gone!
Item #6 is from fujigirls
I had a difficult time finding a pair of earrings since they were all made by one of the designers already mentioned in this post! Awesome job in continuity, everyone! You've caught my eye more than once! I'm not saying that these are a second choice, for the definitely are not! I looked high an low and these beauties showed up. I like the monochromatic look as well. The blue really pops with the metal that's visible. There is also a large amount of detail--the pattern on the backing and the detail of the round cap on top. They are truly gorgeous and you need them!
That's all I have for you all this week, my lovelies! I hope you have enjoyed this very colorful edition of Weekly Wednesday, and I hope to see you next week! Now, head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!
Until next time,
p.s. Feel free to like, tag, share, tweet, or pin!
Hello, everyone! It's Wednesday, and that means I've been browsing through Etsy to show you some of my favorite items! This week I thought it'd be awesome to do a post of a variety of things that sparkle. Now, I'm not really a girly-girl--(you'll usually find me in stretch pants, messing around with power tools for my crafts, etc)--I've got some rough edges..haha. Enjoy this week's roundup :)
Item #1 is from MissVioletLace
Unicorns are all the rage today and in recent months--maybe because of their mystical nature, their uniqueness. This is a shimmer water that illuminates the skin. It also has a sweet scent and is made with organic extracts. Its purple color comes from purple carrot extract and spirulina. With this your skin will be soft and sparkly like that of a unicorn's magic horn.
Item #2 is from HandmadebyTN
I am loving the idea of a glittery phone case on a rose gold iphone. The red and gold glitter on this case is a combination of both fine and chunky glitter. I'll have to say I like the chunky glitter--maybe because it's impossible to clean up the fine glitter. The chunky glitter definitely adds some more visual interest. The case is a gel bumper which allows it to flex to put on and for easy removal. I like the flexible kind because I always feel like I'm going to break the non-flexible ones! The glitter on the case does not move from where it is pictured. The case and glitter have been sealed to prevent any loss of sparkle.
Item #3 is from waterwaif
Even if these are faux druzy earrings, they are still gorgeous! They are acrylic, so they're light weight, and the posts are stainless steel--no allergies! I love how sparkly they are, and I'm sure that they catch the light very well. They'd be perfect for topping off an outfit.
Item #4 is from VowWowDecor
What a better way to add a little sparkle to your house that a sequin pillow! It would definitely add a little more happy to your space just like the listing says! I'm totally loving this champagne blush color, but if you want something different, this pillow cover comes in a number of colors--34 to be exact (I think I counted the list correctly..haha). You also get sequins on both sides of the pillow case; it's definitely a plus considering you usually only get one side with the design on most things nowadays.
Item #5 is from Eternity31
I think this set of earrings is pretty neat. Part of them is glittered, and part is not--it's something a little bit different, and I like it. The part that doesn't have the gold foil has a nice sparkle to it. This set would be great to wear to a number of occasions and, really, you could wear them daily.
Item #5 is from SimplyPRINTly
I love having little bags like this around! I probably would think of this bag as more for containing jewelry when you're travelling, but I think it would also work well for makeup or other little items you'd want to keep together whether for travel or for everyday things. It's made out of canvas material, so it is definitely durable. On the inside is a silky lining. If you'd like a different color fabric, you have a choice of black, white, and beige--Personally, I think the beige would be the best because you'd be able to see most colors on it and it would not get dirty as quickly as the white would. Life gets messy sometimes, and it's best to be prepared.
Item #7 is from LindseyDecor
I think this little dish is so cute! You always need little dishes around the house to put something even if it's just for holding your rings when you're washing your hands. I really like the quote on it--very appropriate for jewelry, but not specifically for jewelry only ;) This would be a great gift for a variety of occasions and something most ladies would love.
Item #8 is from BossStudiosJewelry
I'm loving how understated and gorgeous this ring is! For most cases, less it more. Each of the glittering spots are actually where the metal was burnished. Burnished means that the areas were polished to create a shiny finish. When I first looked at the ring, I really thought the spots were little diamonds. I really like that the majority of the ring is a matte finish, which allows for the shiny spots--I think that's what makes this ring stand out.

Hello, everyone. It time for another Weekly Wednesday! This week I thought it might be an excellent idea to feature some festival jewelry since its getting to be that time of year. You want to by stylin' right? Stylin' and Profilin' actually. Can anyone else wait for the warm weather (I guess I should say STABLE warm weather)? The music?
Item #1 is from ROCKANDYdesigns
I've got to tell you--I love the combination of the raw calcite stone and the tiny pyrite stones. You all know how I love raw stone jewelry (if not, check out this post). I really think the difference in the sizes of the stones really makes the texture of the piece stand out. The base of he bracelet itself is a skinny, gold-plated cuff. Green calcite is commonly associated with money and success--who doesn't need that?
Item #2 is from DurangoDreamDesigns
These earrings exemplify minimalism at its finest. They are simple but still a statement piece. You can wear these as drop style earring or as ear climbers--a double duty piece for festivals is always nice! The fronts are flat, and the earring itself is 3/4 of an inch in length. They also come in silver-filled wire and copper, so if gold isn't your thing then you have an option--or maybe just get on of each!

I'm really liking the simplicity of this necklace. It looks like it has a lot going on, but it really doesn't. It evokes a very nice boho vibe with the tassel--and nothing is more boho than the tassel. The necklace itself is a very nice 32 inches long, and the pendant is 4 inches long. I personally really like the length as it can go with a number of outfits. You have several lengths to choose from, so you can get the perfect length for you! It's definitely a piece that you need to add to your stash even if you're not a festival goer!
Item #4 is from LoveLilyandChloe
Don't get me started on agate slices! They're so neat, and each is slightly different from the last. This is a natural slice of agate that has 23-karat gold plated edges that comes on a customizable chain length. I really think this would be well-suited to a longer necklace because you really don't want something that large right up against your neck even if chokers have managed to make a comeback. The longer the necklace the more flowy and boho it looks.
Item #5 is from TheSilverStones
The color of the chrysoprase in these pendant is absolutely gorgeous! As I continue to look at the variation in each pendant the blue-green hue keeps jumping out at me. The stone has a pattern of green, brown, and black shades that lend themselves to the detail within each piece. This is another very simple necklace, but it's still a gorgeous piece that you really should consider getting your hands on!
That's all I have for you all this week my lovelies! I hope you've enjoyed it. What do you all wear when you go to festivals? Comment below and show me!
Almost forgot...head over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!

Hello, everyone! Welcome to Weekly Wednesday! This week a have a little treat (or what I consider a treat) for you. I love color, and I love uniqueness, so it only seems right that I do something boho. I could feature boho stuff for days, because I love it so much. There are so many different aspects of jewelry that are incorporated into each and every bohemian piece, and that's why I love them--you get something unique that not everybody and his brother is going to have. I've tried to gather a wide range of products, but narrowing it down was tough. Tough, I tell ya! Anyway, I have more for later boho posts ;)
Item #1 is from AraigneeGypsie
I love me some layered jewelry, especially the kind that incorporates a variety of textures like this one. It has double dark brown leather cords, and antique brass chain, and a hand-woven wool bracelet. The colors are also a nice blend--khaki, red/orange (persimmon), green, and blue--and would be great for any season. The tassel is also a nice touch that completes the boho feel.
Item #2 is from StayGoldMaryRose
The first thing that caught my attention about this necklace was the absolutely stunning shade of blue. It reminds me of the blue glass you see sometimes, especially in antique stores. It's one of my favorite shades of blue. The spearhead is made of blue and white china--it's a pattern called 'Willow.' The design has a very tribal feel to it, so it would definitely compliment the boho style, or well, any style really. Shaping china is a very tedious task because you don't want to break it--I've tried to make stuff like this, but my patience ends up wearing too thin haha. The pendant is attached to a long antique copper chain measuring 3.78 inches (35 cm) from neck to pendant (the pendant itself measures 2.16 inches x 1.96 inches). I know this has nothing to do with the jewelry itself--it's more of a personal tidbit from my first trip to Europe. The town the shop is located in is Brighton, England. It was one of our stops, but we didn't get to spend nearly as much time there as we would have liked! There is next time, though! (Possibly for the honeymoon).
Item #3 is from AllieCatDesignStudio
Can you say, "Color?!" The mix of seed beads on this bracelet is awesome! They're bright but still very earthy. You've also got a variety of bead shoes to mix things up a bit. This bracelet is pretty much a one-size-fits-all since it's made of memory wire. It expands and contracts back to its original shape, but that doesn't mean you need to go pulling on it in every direction. You so get a choice of a little charm--a bell or a heart. I'll have to say that the bell is the cutest of the two. Definitely a versatile piece to have in your collection!
Item #4 is from stellacreations
Get the drool bucket out!! I LOVE this necklace--the colors, the variety of beads, the leather cording--everything! It has wonderful visual texture with the beads as well as the leather cording and is very well balanced. The maker even incorporates sari silk into this piece! I'm not a huge fan of heart charms, but this one is very subtle, so I'm actually liking it. It's so tribal and exactly what I'd think of when I hear 'boho.' It's got all the bells and whistles--even the evil eye and tassels. **Note: This isn't the best picture because it was unavailable when I was typing this up! The maker has many, many, many gorgeous items to see in her shop.
Item #5 is from Gypsymoondesigns
I'm so in love with the patina on this pendant. It always adds a little something extra to a design. It's also not the easiest thing to do when you have a specific color in mind, but it is so worth it in the end. A patina also gives the piece a vintage feel. I've never really thought about layering pendants, but this design does a really good job combining the two. It's definitely a Moroccan style (I would love to go here, too!) and would go great with many colors, especially jewel tones.
That's all I have for you all this week, my boho lovelies! I hope you've enjoyed this colorful and unique edition of Weekly Wednesday! I'll be back next week with more fabulous finds for your fabulous selves! Now, make sure to head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!

Hello, everybody! Welcome back to another Weekly Wednesday! This week I've done a large amount of browsing and have decided to feature some lovely raw stone jewelry. There's just something about stones in their natural state that make jewelry all the more beautiful. They don't have to be shiny to be pretty!
Item #1 is from DANIBARBEshop
This may not be what you think of when you hear 'emerald," but you have to admit that these are pretty darn gorgeous. The raw surface gives these babies a very nice visual texture, and the size difference between the two stones makes them unique. The stones are plated with nickel-free 14k gold and have sterling silver ear posts, so you don't have to worry about allergic reactions.
Item #2 is from ALLOYDstudio
Now, this one is a very nice statement piece that still evokes a sense of minimalism. I love the pretty blue color of kyanite--it's very serene and soothing. This pendant is rather large at 5.5 inches, but I think that the size is perfect since there's not a ton of other things going on in the piece. The pendant itself is composed of the circle and a string of raw kyanite pieces. The chain of this necklace is also really pretty. It's a delicate, brass ball chain and a perfect 27 inches in length.
Item # 3 is from AmeyaaJewelry
The first thing that caught my eye about this necklace was the shape. I love that it's something different tha what we would normally expect out of a pendant. This necklace could be a bit of a surprise since the color varies a little bit. ou might get more of a green stone, a blue stone, or a purple stone--all of which are equally pretty. I really like the gold detail that maker has put along the edges of each stone--kind of remind me of the geometric terrariums that are so popular right now.
Item #4 is from WaltersWish
This bracelet is SO pretty! It is very delicate and feminine with the seed beads and raw diamond chips. In case you're wondering, the diamonds are conflict-free (definitely a plus). I could see this piece being very versatile. You could wear it by itself or in combination with several other bracelets. Versatility is something that I look for when I buy or make jewelry because I feel like it's sort of pointless to buy something that ou can only wear with one specific outfit (sometimes, the piece is too fabulous though!). This would be a great gift for Mother's Day or any other occasion that celebrate a special lady!
Item #5 is from LittleSycamore
I didn't think a jewelry feature would be complete without a ring! I've got everything else pretty much! I'm really loving that this ring has two different stones--two types of garnet to be exact. I always ictured garnet as a red stone, but it's color can be influenced by where it is located. The ring itself starts out with a handmade, hammered ring and is turned into the product you see by the process of electroforming and a lot of tedious work by the designer. This ring could go with a variety of outfits due to its neutral color combination. Definitely a must have!
That all I have for you in this week's round-up, but I have more in store for other posts. I can't just give you everything at once, can I?! Haha. I hope that you all have a good rest of the week and weekend, and I'll see ya right back here next time! And don't forget to head on over you your favorite handmade sites and show some artitsts some love!
Until next time,

Hello, everyone! This week, I'm bringing you a few lovely jewelry items! So much stuff and so little time! I 'think' I've figured out the best way for me to keep great content coming to you every week instead of every other week-I'll keep my fingers crossed, you keep yours crossed, and read on!
Item #1 is from AmysLeatherLane
I'm so loving how simple this necklace is, but yet it's making a statement. It's minimalism at its finest. There's more than one texture in this one, but I think that the two balance each other out really well--the silver rings have a slight 'hammered' texture to them, while the leather cord has both a smooth and textured side. I could see this being a great necklace to layer with or just to wear by itself. You can get this in three different styles--desert sunrise, cactus moon, and desert moon--and you have 4 colors of leather to choose from for the cord--dark brown, sand, midnight black, and sienna. My favorite would definitely have to be the desert moon with a dark brown cord.
Item #2 is from Eternity31
This would make quite a unique set of stacking rings. I've seen several resin rings before and ones with the gold flakes but never with the moss. The moss gives it a very natural look and feel. I find it very interesting and also something that I could see myself wearing. The maker of this ring suggests avoiding direct contact with water and prolonged exposure to the sun.
Item #3 is from BijouLimon
Druzy necklaces are extremely popular right now, and I can see why. They're gorgeous stones that lend themselves well to boho and feminine pieces--they've got versatility. With this listing you get a choice of 14 druzy stones on a delicate, gold-filled chain. The colors range from clear to rose to purple--and all are equally gorgeous.
Item #4 is from PeregrinVillage
Look at this pretty neat necklace!! I like how feminine it is. This is a 1957 English sixpence set in a filigree Tibetan silver pendant. It's something unique that you're not going to see on everyone. I think this is such a great idea and would also be great if the maker could do custom orders with coins received on special trips, like a honeymoon or a first international travel.
Item #5 is from gazellejewelry
You all know that I love me some raw stones. Well, I really, really like them with this prong setting. They have a natural, earthy, boho feel. The color of the fluorite stone is an absolutely gorgeous shade of mint. They'd be a great addition to any outfit--casual or dressed up.
That's all for this week, my lovelies! I thought I'd keep it short and sweet instead of bombarding you with so many awesome items ;) Make sure to head on over to your favorite handmade site and show some artists some love!
See you next week!
